Parkinson’s disease is a chronic and progressive movement disorder. Although, presently there is no cure, there are treatment options such as medication, surgery and physical therapy which can help manage and alleviate the symptoms.
Some of the signs of Parkinson’s disease include:
• Tremors of the hands, arms, legs, jaw and face
• Slowness of movement
• Rigidity and/or stiffness of the limbs and trunk
• Postural instability or impaired balance
• Low voice
